I am currently taking an interest in SEDA programming model <http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~mdw/proj/seda/> and I am curious if the Akka pipeline is basically the implementation of stages with Actors? If it is not, is there anything that resembles SEDA programming model in Akka? Now I am aware of pipelines going away <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/akka-user/pipeline/akka-user/8fZ75MlVEYc/YaZGsysG8mcJ>, but would still like to get an answer.
