This is what I did and seems to be working - (JVM process is not shutdown,
while the actor system is ) - using Akka 2.4-Snapshot
public void shutdown() {
system.registerOnTermination(new Runnable() {
@Override
public void run() {
LOG.info("Actor system terminated.");
}
});
system.shutdown();
system.awaitTermination();
}
