Well we do have a similar scenario and we do it that way. Simply assigning
the name to the persitenceId.
val persistenceId: String = self.path.name // userId
I guess you mean the idExtractor (idResolver), it could look like this
val idExtractor: ShardRegion.IdExtractor = {
case um:UserMsg ⇒ (s"${um.Id}", um)
}
