Hello dear community.

Is it okay to wrap a blocking iterator when creating a Source? I have a
blocking API, which I want to hide behind the Source. Here is an example (I
suspect I might need to put blocking code on another executor, is this the
case?):

object playground extends App {

  implicit val system = ActorSystem()
  implicit val materializer = ActorMaterializer()

  val blockingIterator: Iterator[Int] =
    new Iterator[Int] {
      override def next(): Int = {
        Thread.sleep(1000)
        Random.nextInt(10)
      }
      override def hasNext: Boolean = true
    }

  val source = Source(() => blockingIterator)

  source.runWith(Sink.foreach(println))

}
