Hi all,
I try to implement Saga pattern in my application using persistence actor.
My question is: How I can resume all unprocessed sagas on server restart?
I have one idea - all request, thath required Saga processing, begin
processed via Perssisted sagaManagerActor that receive message like
Process(steps: Seq[SagaStep]) then persist it and after create child actor
that execute saga steps. Before child actor die it send message WorkDone to
parent. In this approach after actor system restart's I can manually start
sagaManagerActor and it automatically recreate all children from own
persistent state.
Is this approach right or I don't understand something in Akka Persistence
design?
