Hi All I also agree with Jonathan's ideas about having some soft of a shared memory / or inter-process communication mechanism. I also had to use a database to share data between several executors... when I was trying to implement a parallel algorithm to train artificial neural networks on alchemi. (It was success!) . Point is, even if we (as alchemi users) have "workarounds" for getting the job done (as Tibor suggested); having this feature as a part of the framework will really make our lives much easier!
