Hi Michael,

The .NET 1.1 version is branched off so any changes you make to the main CVS trunk are only for .NET 2.0. You can go ahead and implement your changes.

Most of the recent changes are not in the .NET 1.1 branch.

Regards,

Tibor

Subject: [Alchemi-developers] .NET 2.0

Quick question...

I'm currently changing alchemi to be a little more robust to socket exceptions. However, the change that I am making uses functionality that only exists in .NET 2.0 namely ParameterizedThreadStart. I believe this to be the most appropriate change but it does mean that anyone still on .NET 1.1 will not be able to compile alchemi. Should we try and make it compilable against .NET 1.1 or should we take advantage of the functionality in .NET 2.0?

Thanks,

Michael.
