I haven't looked at the code myself, hopefully someone already knows this off the top of the head.
When and where is binary serialization being used? And, are there alternatives methods besides binary serialization that can be used that would be cross-CLR compatible? And finally, what is the impact of using any of these alternatives versus the current implementation?
