Hi all,
I have a small doubt in the examples provided in the Alhemi SDK.
In the PI calculator problem we are creating it into 10 threads and executing
each thread in different executors.
here how can we know that which thread is executing in which executor.

Thanks & Regards,

Excellent! Glad you got it working :)

I'm actually still using 1.0.5 on my grid (~24 executors). 1.0.6 has had a
few problems, so I went back to 1.0.5 for stability. We're still working on
getting all the kinks worked out with 1.0.6.

single Desktop PC in Memory storage. I found them working. and the examples
were running too. Im trying to connect the other systems present in my lab
present in my institution by installing the executors in them. Here i was
unsucessful. could not get where to config so that i can get connected with all
the executors and start working...please let me know.. If screenshots are
provided it will be more helpful.Cheers Rahul

Hey Rahul,

It sounds like all of your new executors don't know the right hostname or IP
address for the manager. This is an easy fix -- just go into the folder (on
the Executor) that contains the executable files, and edit the
Alchemi.Executor.Config.xml file.

There should be a line like
<ManagerHost>192.168.0.1</ManagerHost>

Just put the hostname or IP address of the manager in there, and restart the
Executor.

Hope that works, let us know if you have any more problems.

-Matt

Hi, I've had some trouble running the 1.0.6 executor and manager, so
I've been using 1.0.5. I'd like to use the XPManager to submit jobs via
a SOAP interface.

I've got IIS installed from the WindoowsXP SP2 CD and the .NET SDK for
ASP.NET.

I'm finding that The Alchemi.XMPanager-1.0.5-net-2.0.msi is only
installing these files and directories:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Alchemi
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Alchemi\CrossPlatformManager
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Alchemi\CrossPlatformManager\license.rtf
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Alchemi\CrossPlatformManager\bin

So when I browse to http://localhost/Alchemi/CrossPlatformManager I
don't see anything.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

thanks,
mike
