You remember that I was afraid tht it would be too much work? I hope your
effort pays off.  Well, if the libraries of Manuel Bronstein actually get
released, it certainly does!

Oh dear. what functionality is missing in List? And, again, how are you going

Ralf: don't you think you could check in what you have so far? Or, more
importantly, are you branching from trunk or from axiom-port?

In fact, couldn't axalcomp be a separate project, that we use in combinat? In
that case, I suggest I move my species-related modifications (i.e., only the
aldor part) from axiom-port to trunk, if that's ok for you?
