It doesn't appear to me that this fix can be done quite this simply. The
gen.[bat|sh] files will need to be changed to pass in the work/merge.xml
file instead of the original source, and the XSL will need to be updated to
extract the necessary information from the "defined-in" attribute instead
of the "href" attribute where it looks now.
