As far as I know, there is not a binary release of Alexandria.
Therefore, the only way to get the code is through CVS.
Point your browser to:
http://jakarta.apache.org/site/cvsindex.html
and start reading. You will want to download the jakarta-alexandria
repository, and then go from there.
