This might be due to a bug in the ant CVS task which meant that it would
hang it cvs errored. You might want to see is you can run ant in debug and
see exactly what the command that it's running is and then try this by hand.
I think someone submitted a patch for this problem into ant but I'm not sure
of the status of this.
