We're probably going to have to wait for the west coast to wake up this
morning. There was a change to Xerces which has caused several failures
(e.g. axis, fop, and cactus failures) - not knowing the internals of
Xerces, I don't see what these failures have in common, but they all seem
to have occurred at the same time.
I do have a minimal test case for the axis failure which I submitted to the
xerces dev mailing list.
