Yes, I was being a little flip. What actually occurred was closer to:
<project/> =>
<module><project/></module>
<project><project/><project> =>
<module><project/></module>
Since there was more of the former than the latter, what occurred mostly
was that projects became nested one level deeper. In other cases, the name
of the enclosing element changed. My point was that the change was more
style vs semantics.
The current gump code base accepts either style. Now that the migration is
complete, I may choose to rip that out, making the code base even smaller.
