+1 I will say that if there is a project definition that I care about that is external to the gump cvs and the owner doesn't actively participate, then I will simply reimport that one definition. Note: my own personal criteria for nominating people for committers to this code base and my willingness to depend on external definitions are essentially the same, namely that syntax or semantic errors which effectively prevent "build gump scripts" from executing are rare.
