I am all for supporting Alex's intention to not watch the convention.
To that end, I suggest that we not talk about the convention for the
entire week. Now, I confess that I will watch it whenever I can, but I
don't feel the need to talk about it. There's nothing really important
to talk about. We all know what's going to happen.
There are plenty of other things we can talk about instead: universal
health care, Iraq, Russia, sex, death, taxes, butt shaving. For those
who want to vent about the Democrats' taxpayer subsidized party in
Denver or the Republicans' in St. Paul, there will be plenty of
opportunities. I propose an un-conventional Alex Bennett Program.
