Hello- You can check for "hot wiring" in a few spots-if you unplug the AFM while the ignition is on and the fuel pump stops, then the contacts under the black cover have probably been shorted. It is easy to bend them so they touch all the time. The other possible spot is the combo-relay. I would like to stress (if it hasn't been stressed enough already) that an "on all the time" fuel pump is a really BAD idea. The fuel pump can deliver an alarming amount of fuel in a short time.
