I have used a Chevron 000 grease in the steering box of my '74 GTV and been happy. This
stuff is classified as "semi-liquid", in that you can't really pour it but it
does flow at anything above room temps. I took the top off of my steering box and spooned
it in, and then it flows to fill all of the critical areas. In all likelihood most any
grease will be pretty fluid at operating temps for the steering box, given its proximity
to the exhaust manifold.
