I'm overwhelmed with Alfas and some have to go before I lose sanity. Thus, the incredibly original 1967 Giulia 1300 TI I drove from Boston to Berkeley last summer is on the block. Lovely acqua di fonte (light blue) with red vinyl interior, rubber floor mats, original 1300 single-carb, 5-speed, 5.12 rear end, ATE brakes w/o booster. 93,000 km (57,660 miles); incredible condition. Drove 3300 miles without a single issue. Rebuilt gearbox, new clutch, valve job, and recovered front seats three years ago (see it all documented on www.motoringinvestments.com; click on Alfa and page down). Otherwise almost totally original. All original body, one or two tiny pinholes of rust, one small shipping scrape on RF corner. Local repaints here and there, but mostly original. Drive anywhere, which I proved. Not the fastest Giulia on the block (cruises at 70 effortlessly), but for sure the most original and rust-free. Drop in a 1750 over a weekend and save the original 1300 for posterity.
Came from Italy, Holland, to Michigan a couple years ago, then bounced around dealers in the US. Has a Michigan title; I have not re-registered it. Would like to get $19,500 for it but am happy to talk. It'll likely go to Fantasy Junction if I don't find a buyer myself. Lovely car, but I am not capable of keeping it in the condtion it's in, especially in everyday use. Email for pics and info or call to discuss (510) 526-0391.
