For my part, I have to say that the 159 turbo diesel I rented and drove all over southern Italy in May was quite entertaining. The power was fine for a road car, and on all the twisty mountain roads I was on -- and there were a lot, primarily in the area around Monte Cassino and to the west in the Volturno valley -- it never felt porky. I would buy a 159 when and if they come here, and if I'm able to afford it. At $60K that might not be possible, though. In the meantime, I got a Mazdaspeed 3. I sort of pretend it's a 147 GTA.
