Actually, an Alfa SUV might be of interest to my wife and I. We plan to
retire in about 3 years. Our first and only definite plan for retirement is
to drive out Motorhome to Alaska. We need a "Toad" or Towed vehicle to pull
behind to go places the motorhome will not go.
I wanted a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. My wife wants a Jeep Liberty. All
Jeeps are 4 wheel drive and all have a lever to disengage the driveline for
towing.
But an Alfa SUV might be of interest, depending upon the price. It would
also have to be 4 wheel drive with lots of wheel travel for off road
adventure. It would preferably have a full body on frame construction. It
would have to have a driveline capable of being flat towed.

So in conclusion, I want, an Jeep Rubicon Wrangler with an Alfa Name
Badge. I want the Alfa 3.2 Liter 4 valve, 4 cam V-6 WITH chain drive. No
rubber timing belts for me, especially not off road.
The other problem is that all the Jeeps after 2006 are ugly.

Not sure if this is a good way to reintroduce Alfa Romeo to the US:
