You think you are upset because 28 Alfas got destroyed, you should have been in Italy when hundreds of Giulias Ti, and fiat 110, and all kinds of great cars I grew up seeing were destroyed. These 28 had 28 owners who thought this was the best end. The rules for cash 4 clunker were that only cars with less then 18MPG were clunkers to be traded for cars getting over 28MPG (my spider would not qualify as a clunker since it gets 22-27). How the rules were bent for the trucks I don't know, chalk it up to closing an eye to help car makers, I guess.
