for general information, the lovely and talented Bank of America, where
i have been
working as a contractor/consultant for most of the past 6 years (in two
separate stints),
has decided to rigorously enforce their corporate policy that no
contractor should be
employed for terms in excess of 12 months. so as of the end of this
month, i'm out
looking (actually, i'm done there on 12/17, but i'm on vacation until
after the 1st.)
what this means for the digests isn't much, except that if anyone out
there is looking
for an IT consultant (network engineering & security, linux, open source
databases,
software development in java or php, system administration), a couple of
consulting
gigs would be really helpful in tiding me over while i search for the
mythical "real job".
thanks,
richard
