The "Nigerian Scam" was less obvious (at least the first time I had it
pulled on me) than this one. I actually called the telephone number in
GB and talked to "the guy". Luckily, I got suspicious when my
alternative plan was shot down by the guy. He wanted access to my bank
account "to deposit millions of dollars" and I suggested that I open a
new account for this transaction. His backpedaling was such that all
kinds of red flags went up, so I told him that I'd call him back after
I thought about it. In the meantime I mentioned it to a friend who
sent me to a web-site that explained the so-called Nigerian Scam.
After that, I have received literally dozens of "invitations" to
become rich with variations on this theme. Luckily, I'm just naturally
suspicious enough to have not actually been caught in one of these,
although I must say that my first encounter certainly made my pulse
race for a while. Mana from Heaven and all that...

Are you kidding? That's an obvious scam - I, however sent some $$ to
Nigeria, and soon will rich!
Bwhahahaha...
