I have been out of things Alfa -- which really meant for me plucking the
brains of you guys in the know so I can keep my uncelebrated ('77) museum
piece in running order -- over recent years. I'm looking to getting into the
Alfa community more substantially in the new year, and just might find the $
to renew an AROC membership. And the convention is on the east coast this
year, right? Baltimore, no?

I'm mainly writing because I feel some inspiration to do so. I observe
that
this is the first day without an aught in a long time. I'm choosing to see
this as an opportunity not to be lost. I'm yearning for a life-sustaining,
friendship-developing change in life. So, I'm wanting to send out what I'd
like to see -- in the sense that we can create our reality -- with a message
wishing the best to the Alfa Digest and those who make it exist, those who
make it interesting, and those who find something in reading it. May it long
play a role in keeping the real Alfa alive in North America -- MiTo
importation or no.

Most notably, thanks to Richard for his dedication, Richard. It seems
not to
have flagged, where mine has.

I hope all this is understood and recognized in the spirit it was
intended.

        Happy new year, all.
