Good going, Skip. Now give us the cause. Were the head studs coated
with white powder? That normally happens when running well water in the
cooling system. Since I have a well, I always use distilled water.
I once had to take a die grinder with a little wire brush to clean the
inside of the water jacket of accumulated white stuff.
If not deposits from mineral water, what was the cause? Galvanic action
between the aluminum and the steel? Or what?
