George Graves wrote (on the Alfa Six thread):  "There are also a  number of 
2600s in the US, too, but they were never  
officially  imported by Alfa Romeo either."
 
Not to disagree vehemently with my good friend George, what he meant to say 
 is that there were never any 2600 SEDANS (Berlinas) imported to the  good 
old USA.  As a long-term 2600 Spider owner, I know (as does George)  that 
many 2600 Sprints and Spiders were imported, just none of the  Berlinas.  A 
couple of them made their way to the States anyway (Tom  Zat comes to mind) 
and there was a Berlina offered on EBay not long ago, but  they are still very 
rare here.
