I just love that I have been receiving the Alfa Digest for probably ten years or more (used to own a Milano and then a 164LS and now a Sp ider, so I have had experience with the timing belts) and I am sure if I had a series of digests from almost any date over that span the debate on the tensioner would live on!B I wonder if in this particular case the cold weather and lack ofB use has something to do with it.B I imagine a timing belt sitting in one position for a long period in cold temperatures would take a set. -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
