Hi ! Back in the (19)70's before becomming an ALFA type, i had an E type Jacuar (Jaguar) which started to accelerate whenever i made a left turn beyond a very mild one. Turns out the motor mounts were just about gone & left turns allowed the engine to rotate a little in the direction that the linkage to the throttle made it accelerate.
