I believe the front bolt tangs came in partway through the 1967 model year. In period 67-68 road tests in R&T and Sports Car Graphic, what appears to be the same Super has tangs in one test and not in the other. Either the engine was replaced or it's a different car wearing the same dealer plates. My Feb 67 Super has tangs on the depression-style cover, though 43 years later it's pretty hard to tie that cover to that car from new. If you don'f find one anywhere else I likely have one Dennis.
