Morning all. I've got a quick question on the ends of the soft lines for
the brakes on my 72 GTV.
In taking out all the rubber lines as part of my slooooow rebuild I noticed
that the ends all seem to be AN -3 in size (though extra long). While the
lines have been on the car and working for the past 6 years I've owned it,
and I would believe are original, the fittings/threads crimped on the end
of the rubber hoses seem really loose when threading into the caliper. So
much so that it almost seems like the fittings are too small or the
improper size.
Is this normal/standard?
