Thanks to all for the input/answers to my GTV brake line question.
It turns out my memory is going. Or..... it's just bad to take something
apart and let it sit for 2-3 months before you get back to it...
I had pulled the calipers from the car to get them rebuild since the
pistons were stuck. I gave them to a buddy who didn't have much time to mess
with them for quite a while so just recently I got them back and got the
pistons out myself. That is when my question came up.
After Jeff's note about the short, hard line that is supposed to be there I
went searching and came up with the pieces I didn't remember removing 2-3
months ago when I gave my calipers to my buddy. So thanks for that
reminder!
Also for those who recommended - YES I am doing stainless lines. In fact
I have them sitting here, waiting to go in.
Thanks for reminding me why I shouldn't take so long to give this car the
love it needs.
