Before replacing the lock have you tried lubrication? Are your keys old &

The ignition key in my 1986 Spider has stopped turning. I have tried
with three separate keys, all of which worked before. Short of taking
apart the whole enterprise and installing a new ignition lock, can
anyone suggest a remedy? And, if there is no other way to do it
(assuming that I can find a new lock) does anyone have a written
procedure for r-and- r-ing the ignition lock??
