The turn signal flasher requires two working bulbs to creat enough
resistance to make the flasher flash. If the front works and the rear does
not, I would check the rear bulbs.
You might need to take out both tail
light housings and solder wire to all the grounds. I had to do that on a
Milano. Also check the plugs for the rear bulbs them selves.

Drove
the car in the shop and had a flashing light up front. Flipped the switch and
the other front one flashed. Turned the emergency flasher switch on and both
front lights blinked.
