People ask why I drive Alfas. Part of the answer is in the dynamics of the experience, but part of it is exhibited by this thread. See, I don't have to worry about my Alfa mechanic closing up shop. I learned 40 years ago to do my own work and in all that time my Alfas have never been in any shop but my own. Sorry for your troubles, but where I live there are no Alfa shops to close. Never have been.
