Actually, SUVs are not passi. The new SUV is called a crossover, and is a unit body front or all-wheel drive vehicle. This is what Alfa has planned. I, too, am dismayed, but it isn't Alfas first foray into the truck market. Way back in the 1900 days there were many Alfa trucks in the guise of military vehicles.

First of all, SUVs are passe. The world is heading toward smaller cars powered by electricity or hybrid technologies. Even Fiat will see that, eventually.
