Yeah, they didn't make many in 81 and 82. I think 81 was the year
Reagan took office partially due to a terrible economy with runaway
inflation and a world-wide recession.
For those who like statistics, that's a total of 110,131 Spiders made
in the 23 years between 1970 and 1993. An average of less than 5000
units/year.
