I do believe that some one on that list will try it...I'll report the
results, good or disastrous.  In the Lists' defense, there was an immediate
note saying to use ATF and acetone in a 50/50 mixture, or just straight ATF.

My experience with heat hasn't bee 100% successful.  I tried to remove some
exhaust studs from an Alfa head where some broke off.  Initially I used a
Blue Torch to heat up the head to expand the hole.  I welded a nut to the
remaining broken studs (several times on the same stud) and used my hand
impact driver to remove them; only a few of the broken studs succumbed to my
efforts.
