Hi All,
I am trying to unravel the mysteries of the electronic damping on the 164S (1991-1993 model) via the "Fiat-Lancia Tester (a.k.a. F.L.T., Marelli or simply Alfa Tester). (you know, that pesky "red" fault light that goes on when the internal diagnostic system determines that a component of the system is not working). Dean Russell kindly confirmed that the Alfa Tester is very useful for pinpointing a problem. I have now a genuine F.T.L. in my hands and the ADT 101A adaptor; I am missing the wire lead that goes in between the adaptor (a 9-pin connector) and the ecu in the trunk (a 3-pin plug). I am also missing the specific "suspension" module that plugs into the F.L.T., namely the M4-B/GB module (this is the module that Dean uses). Can anyone help? The missing connector could be fabricated if someone could tell me the pin connections (3 pin to 9 pin [RS232 serial]); as far as the module is concerned I would be grateful to be able to rent, buy or borrow one. I'm located in NY. Many thanks. --Steven
