the last bolt is the one on top at rear.the fact that you removed the cross
member at the front point of the triangle may cause the front cover with the
spider to fall thru.so just connect the crossmember to the front point of the
dedion.then the front of the cover rests on that.why go thru the trouble of a

I'm confused about this block between the diff and the dedion.  I've never
used one.

The 'last bolt' you mention is the rear top of the diff, right?  (That's the
only bolt holding the transaxle to the body).

I'd put a floor jack under the rear of the diff, remove the bolt, then
gently lower things.  I think your biggest issue is going to hold it from
flopping around left to right, but if you've got floor jacks under the read
of the dedion, towards the outside, they should prevent that.

I don't recall the transaxle/diff 'falling through' the dedion, if that's
what you're worried about.  If you're worried about that, a 2x4 that goes
across the dedion and under the diff should solve your problem, just put the
floor jack under that and lower it gently.  I'd guess that would be 3 or 4
feet long.
