A friend with a '71 GTV has non-working turn signals on either side. The turn signal exterior lights do not flash, the dashboard lights do not flash, the emergency flasher doesn't work, and there are no clicks emanating from the electronic flasher. << It is almost certainly the "flasher unit" .. I haven't looked at a 71, but suspect it is an ordinary (American like) round can that you can get at any parts store. It is probably mounted near the steering column above the pedals. I don't think Alfa started using the "rectangular Bosch electronic flasher" until 73 or 74 .. If you have that contact me and I will tell you how to get rid of it. Carl R. Davis 2823 S.
