I have a 1995 Alfa164 LS that suddenly stopped running while cruising down the expressway doing about 60mph. Engine did not stall, stammer or hicup - it just stopped running as if someone turned off the key. Car fails to restart. Dash lights come on and engine spins, but I do not hear fuel pump pressuring up. I have been told the crankshaft position sensor might be the culprit. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? DOES ANYONE HAVE A SPARE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR? Thanks in advance. Frank in Atl.
