A friend with a shop had one of these in the 70s. Expensive and short lived solution to a problem better solved by making sure the whole system is in good condition. If memory serves, the main culprit was out of balance drum brakes. This problem is not amplified as much with disk brakes. He also had a system that would turn brake disks on the car. This was actually pretty good, but a slightly loose wheel bearing would throw everything off.
