Meadowdale was the site of the first road race I ever attended and it might even have been the one you have listed the results for. I certainly remember seeing a number of Cobras and maybe a Lola T70 that was a DNF(?) I think I have a picture somewhere of it parked under a tree. It would have to have been either 1963 or 1964. I'll have to go digging in my stuff. Thanks for the memories. Bob A. Kenosha WI In a message dated 2/11/2011 9:49:52 A.M. Central Standard Time, [email protected] writes:

You are correct, Richard. Chuck Stoddard (from Ohio, as I recall) campaigned a TZ extensively in the 60s. I saw him race many times and loved that car. It was always the loudest thing on the track. That car, and the Horst Kwetch GTA/GTV race cars are directly responsible for my becoming an Alfa nut. >From here http://wspr-racing.com/wspr/results/usrrc/usrrcgt1964.html#7 * USRRC-GT Meadowdale 8.round Race: * 37 laps = 193,121 km AVG: 147,239 km/h Pos.
