Stevan: The AVS ES 100 has been replaced by the S-Drive. I have a set of the ES 100 on my Alfetta that are in need of replacement. I have a set of the S-Drives on my GTV from only about a year ago. Both excellent tires. Hard for me to tell the difference. A friend tracks the S-Drives in his Mini, so they must be amature race worthy.
The ES 100 has a much cooler looking tread pattern, which I miss. Bill Krause at Auto Options in Berkeley a few blocks from Jon Norman has sold me my last 4 sets of tires. Best prices I've found (unless you buy online and have free installation somewhere) I know - shameless plug, but I like the guy. He recently fixed a sidewall puncture in my wife's tire where none of the franchise shops would touch it.
