Just a couple of things to add to the Rear wheel bearing discussion. Everything so far is exactly as I found it. However, I struggled getting the big nuts off with half inch breaker bars, (I broke 2 of them), but when I used a borrowed three quarter bar and socket, it was easy, with a pipe on the bar. Same thing with the all-thread rod that I set up with huge washers and custom made plates to extract the old bearing, I used three quarter all thread, greased it, and it pulled them right out. Also, thanks to some web articles that are probably still out there, I used a grinder to remove the piece of bearing left on the stub axle. The lips of the bearing are so small you would need some special equipment, so grinding was a good choice.
