I've rebuilt the booster from an Alfetta, and I still occasionally see booster diaphragms for sale. They are a simple device, but spares are rare.
I think the twin clutches will be come rarer as people switch to singles, and I guess they may have some value to a concourse builder in future. Everything is rebuildable at a price...... I'm a hoarder so I would keep them stored if you have the space. Your kids can toss them out after you're gone ;-) Cheers Beatle Oz -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, 16 March 2011 8:00 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [alfa] Rebuildable GTV-6 parts questions Are the brake booster and the twin clutch assembly of a GTV-6 rebuildable? Is it worth the effort? Or, should the parts be replaced with new ones? If rebuildable, is it a garage job, or does it require a professional? Should I just junk the old parts?
