I just replaced my wipers and I'm still having problems with the drivers side. Of course, the passenger side works like a charm, but it seems the drivers side doesn't have enough spring tension to hold the wiper to the glass. At my freeway speeds the problem is worse. This is a 78 Spider. Will newer arms ( and newer springs) fit? What years are compatible? Can I just cut a coil and make it stiffer - just kidding- Looks like a PTA to replace the spring.
