Nothing has changed from US spec, yet. I am merely contemplating the change of
tail lights since the two color lenses are easier to source.

Are the tail light lenses the only thing you have changed from US spec? (I
assume it was born as US spec).

I believe having the turn signals a distinct color is somewhat better from a
traffic safety standpoint.

Interestingly a number of foreign brands sold in the US have gone from amber
to red turn signals on the rear within the last 5 years (BMW, Audi, Honda).
